About
Tal Abuloff is an early-stage investor passionate about partnering with founders who dare to build the unconventional. Tal is currently serving as a principal at Grove Ventures and specializes in identifying groundbreaking ideas before they become obvious.
At Grove Ventures, Tal plays a key role in sourcing, evaluating, and supporting category-defining startups. She works closely with founders from the first intro call to the term sheet—and long after the deal is closed—helping them navigate growth, strategy, and the challenges of building something truly exceptional. Tal is deeply embedded in the success of her portfolio companies, acting as a thought partner and trusted advisor to some of the most promising entrepreneurs in the ecosystem.
Her ability to spot high-potential founders early is rooted in her diverse network, from her service in the elite military intelligence unit 8200, her work in startups, and her global outreach.
Before becoming an investor, Tal was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship, one of the most prestigious scholarship awards in the world, and graduated with honors from Harvard Law School, where she completed her Master’s degree specializing in venture capital investments. Before that, Tal graduated second in her class from Tel Aviv University Faculty of Law and completed her clerkship at the chamber of the honorable Deputy Chief Justice Hanan Melcer, of the Israeli Supreme Court.
Tal is always on the lookout for the not-yet-imagined, and always happy to engage with out-of-the-box thinkers —whether it’s a founder with an unconventional background, a technology that redefines an industry, or a vision that challenges the status quo.
