What’s in store for the markets in 2022? VCs weigh in with some predictions

Lior Handelsman, General Partner at Grove Ventures, one of Israel’s leading early-stage venture capital funds, shared his insights on the investment market in 2022. He predicts a slowdown in large seed investment rounds and a shift towards smaller Seed rounds. Handelsman emphasized that gaining access to capital will become more challenging, leading to lower valuations for startups. He also mentioned that companies with higher valuations might face higher dilutions. However, Handelsman remained optimistic about the Israeli tech industry, stating that leading early-stage VCs are still eager to invest in great deals, and Israel remains one of the best markets for technology investments.
