RapidAPI raises $9M led by A16Z

RapidAPI, a platform that helps developers find, use, pay for, and track API calls, has raised $9 million in a Series A funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz. RapidAPI offers a directory of over 8,000 APIs and has seen significant growth, working with around half a million developers. The company processes around 400 billion API calls per month and covers a wide range of APIs, including those from Microsoft, Stripe, SendGrid, and Google Translate. RapidAPI plans to use the funding to expand its business by adding more APIs and attracting more developers. RapidAPI is a portfolio company of VC Grove Ventures, currently one of Israel’s most prominent venture capital firms
