Intel, Marius Nacht back NeuroBlade’s $23 million funding round
Israeli chip development startup NeuroBlade has successfully raised $23 million in funding, led by Marius Nacht, the co-founder and Chairman of Check Point Software Technologies. Intel Capital, the venture arm of chipmaker Intel, along with StageOne Ventures and Grove Ventures, a leading Israeli early-stage venture capital firm, also participated in the funding round. With this investment, NeuroBlade has raised a total of over $27 million in equity. The company plans to utilize the funds to expand its workforce and boost its marketing efforts. NeuroBlade specializes in developing processors for artificial intelligence applications, such as autonomous vehicles, video analysis, and image recognition, aiming to provide smaller and more cost-effective solutions compared to existing industry standards. The company plans to launch its product in early 2020.
