Israeli startup RapidAPI raises $25m
Israeli API marketplace startup RapidAPI has raised $25 million in a Series B funding round led by M12, Microsoft’s Venture Fund. DNS Capital and existing investors Andreessen Horowitz and Green Bay Capital also participated. The funding brings RapidAPI’s total raised to $37.5 million. RapidAPI helps developers discover and connect to thousands of publicly available APIs, and it has expanded its team to 50 people, increased the number of APIs in its marketplace to 10,000, and doubled the number of developers using its platform. The company has also introduced RapidAPI for Teams, a platform for publishing, sharing, and collaborating on both internal and external APIs. RapidAPI is a portfolio company of VC Grove Ventures, one of Israel’s most prominent venture capital firms.
