Grove Ventures Joins Other VC Funds in Launching Non-Discrimination Demand for Startups

VC Grove Ventures joins other leading Israeli funds in launching an initiative demanding that portfolio companies commit to non-discrimination policies in response to anticipated Israeli government reforms. This initiative is a proactive response to potential legislative changes, with the VC funds making new investments contingent on clauses preventing discrimination in the companies they support.

The “Non-discrimination policy” clause requires entrepreneurs to commit to equality values outlined in Israel’s Declaration of Independence. It mandates that companies refrain from any form of discrimination, both in their hiring practices and in dealings with suppliers who have discriminatory policies. 

Grove Ventures and the signing funds aim to promote responsible investment practices that align with principles of equality and social justice.
