Deepchecks Snags $14M Seed to Continuously Validate ML Models

Deepchecks, an Israeli startup, has secured a $14 million seed investment and announced the general availability of its open source solution for continuously testing machine learning models. The funding round was led by top Israeli venture capital firm Grove Ventures, as well as Alpha Wave Ventures and Hetz Ventures. The company, founded by CEO Philip Tannor and CTO Shir Chorev, aims to address the challenges of ensuring that machine learning models are functioning as intended, with valid and unbiased data. The open source version of Deepchecks has been widely adopted, with over 500,000 downloads, and is being used by companies such as AWS, Booking.com, and Wix. Deepchecks also released a commercial product called Deepchecks Hub, which includes enterprise features like security and authentication.
